The hotel was opened 5 years ago by a family whose main goal in the building’s restoration was to conserve the building’s historic integrity. Through painstaking restoration of this 22 room “boutique” hotel, the conversation of exposed brick and stone, beams, artisianal woodwork, and picture windows vestiges of the building’s past are easily discerned. The hotel’s privileged location within Toledo’s inner walls enables the visitor to visit the city’s most emblematic monuments, museums and churches on foot. The Hotel Abad Toledo is situated in the midst of these magical streets of Toledo’s city centre.
The hotel is just steps away from the Cristo de la Luz Mosque and a quick walk from Zocodover, the city’s main square.
