



The Hotel Saanerhof in Saanen celebrated its first centenary in 2005. It was one of the first hotels in the Saanenland as building work commenced even before the arrival of the train in 1904. The establishment opened its doors on August 1st 1905 and was the first hotel with electric light troughout. Peter Matti acquired the hotel in 1936. His daughter, Susanne Matti, and her husband Jürg Neuenschwander took over the reins in 1979. In summer you can have coffee, a drink or even a small snack in the shade of the trees on the garden terrace.The restaurant has a rustic styled interior and serves seasonally varied cuisine. A vegetarian selection is available upon request.Breakfast and Taxes are included.
