| "Friendly staff,15 mins walk from old city,15 mins walk from new shopping area of Damascus.Priced at 50 euros for double room including breakfast.
Clean rooms, good size breakfast area.Does not do evening meals but plenty restaurants 5/10 mins away.
We went back from 5-8 Nov having first been there 26-28 Oct. " |

| "Excellent value for money! We had a large room, with a bath tub and a refrigerator. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The first morning we were too late for breakfast (because we hadn't set our clocks right), yet they went out of their way to give us a (reduced) breakfast!" |

| "After some very unreliable accommodation in Egypt, Turkey and Jordan - it was refreshing to stay somewhere that had a comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, clean room and bathroom and central location. This was the only decent shower I had in the Middle East!
Can recommend to all travellers really - close walk to the souk, internet cafe located in the post office across the road, ATM's and other services nearby. Value for money was pretty good overall - I wanted a decent place to stay after some dodgy hostels and hotels. " |

| "We did not think this hotel was a good value for the price we paid, $ 66, compared to the $40 we paid for a better and bigger room in Hama, Syria.
The best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the city centre, and the Airport bus terminal.
There are no restaurants inside the hotel, except the breakfast area on the second floor. Breakfast is included in the price of the room but it is ok.
We had requested, on our booking, a double bed, but we ended up getting two twin beds and when asked we were told there were only two rooms with double beds in the whole hotel and these were occupied. We should have been told this at the time of booking rather than being told after the fact; the room we got for the first night was really small and we could not move around the room since we also had our baggage.
Although they did change the room for us the next day.
