"Only complaint is the usual re Buffet breakfasts/lunches. Everything is only Luke warm unless you arrive as soon as the breakfast opens. There is good coffe shop located very close so no problems for me."

"This hotel is literally on the opposite side of the road to Kaohsiung train station. To find it, simply come out of the hotel and look straight ahead! To reach the bus station, you have to cross the foot bridge (to the left of the train station as you approach it from the hotel). You also need to cross the tracks to get to the interesting parts of Kaohsiung, ie: bars and restaurants. Taxis to the centre of town are cheap and take about 5 minutes. This hotel is perfect if you intend to use Kaohsiung as a 'hub' to travel to other parts of Southern Taiwan (eg: Ken Ting, Tai Nan, etc). If you want a hotel that is very close to the tourist/ex-pat areas, then I would advise choosing something closer to the river. The quality of the room and the breakfast, etc, was pretty standard, but if you want to spend all day in the hotel, then you should probably not bother going to Southern Taiwan. In fact, you should probably just stay in your own country and go to the most expensive hotel you can find there! I found this hotel to be clean, well-serviced, nice staff, decent breakfast, comfortable rooms, good bathroom - basically everything you need to wash and sleep after travelling all day. I've heard stories about pretty basic hotels in Taiwan, but this one was absolutely fine!"
