| "Very beautiful hotel, with magical view of the lake. The service was also excellent. They waived off the charges for video-on-demand for all the guests as the typhoon virtually trapped us in the hotel. The longest swimming pool in Taiwan also left a deep impression." |

| "Location of the resort is SUPERB, it commands the breathtaking view of the lake, truly memerising! Furthermore it is not far from the busiest street of Sun Moon Lake, just a short walk down the slope will lead you to the shops, tourist centre, bus station and the jetty for boat-rides.
Architecture of the resort is amazing, every detail is taken cared of, the common area is spacious, you can feel the generosity of space granted by this resort.
All the staffs are very well-trained, very attentive and guest-friendly. You feel definitely like home at this resort. Just very surprise to be served with lemon shorbet and plain water once you settle down at the poolside. This is something very very special and unique.
Had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, food was superbly well prepared. The set breakfast is also quite good.
The only shortfall is the standard room is quite small, the bed is a very standard queensize bed, may be too short for taller westerners. Bathroom is also small and without bathtub. But then the balcony is spacious, I think it takes up most of the room space.
But overall, it is a fabulous resort to stay at Sun Moon Lake." |

| "The hotel website does not quite do justice to the place. The use of wood for the fittings, and the openness of the design which gives sweeping views across the lake, make this a soothing place to stay. There is a high level of attention to detail in the running of the hotel. But above all it is marked out by the quality of the service and the helpfulness of the staff which are outstanding. " |

| "Beautiful hotel on the edge of Sun Moon Lake. Ideal location for this area. Great rooms, interesting sliding wall design. A bit expensive for the smallish room size, but probably worth it for the view across the lake. The in-house restaurants were very good but pricey, lots of nearby alternatives for a more 'local' experience. Lovely pool area, the longest pool I've seen for ages. Peaceful and quiet setting although passing tourboat commentary is annoying, also light and sound disruption from a korean film shoot going on all night when I was there." |

| "Wonderful place to stay! Although is only a night but the service was really good. The manager in the reception area even accompany us all the way down to wait for the ferry to fetch us up for a ride.
And of cos.. the view was excellent! Able to see the mountain and lake. Really nice view.
If me n my hubby have another chance to visit Sun Moon Lake, we will definitely stay in Lalu Sun Moon Lake!" |

| "Remarkable hotel, by all means: architecture, location... The service is outstanding, the library is a wonderfully cosy place, the Chinese restaurant is first-class, the spa is extremely pleasant and relaxing. If it were not for the price, we would have loved to stay longer!" |

| "We had an excellent time. The surroundings are fabulous and the hotel architecture and design are very well thought and wonderful. Only one concern: everything is in wood, which is not very suitable for a humid and hot environment like Taiwan; it is still ok, but will require a lot of maintenance to keep it in good conditions in the future." |
