There will be exciting celebration shows of top Taiwanese singers and performers from 7 pm to 11:55 pm at Citizen Square in front of Taipei City Hall, also a breathtaking firework show displayed on Asia’s tallest building, “Taipei 101,” right after the New Year's Eve countdown. The firework show on Taipei 101 is popular worldwide. There were seventy-five TV networks in twenty-six countries broadcasting footage of the New Year’s Eve fireworks at Taipei 101 last year. It is believed that this year’s firework show is going to be more amazing and splendid than last year. The recommended place to appreciate the magnificent firework show is at open fields such as National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Elephant Mountain, and Veterans' Village Park in Xinyi District, as
