In order to welcome New Year 2010, Taipei City government is hosting a series of New Year celebrations on December 31st, 2009. There will be exciting celebration shows of top Taiwanese singers and performers from 7 pm to 11:55 pm at Citizen Square in front of Taipei City Hall, also a breathtaking firework show displayed on Asia’s tallest building, “Taipei 101,” right after the New Year's Eve countdown. The firework show on Taipei 101 is popular worldwide. There were seventy-five TV networks in twenty-six countries broadcasting footage of the New Year’s Eve fireworks at Taipei 101 last year. It is believed that this year’s firework show is going to be more amazing and splendid than last year. The recommended place to appreciate the magnificent firework show is at open fields such as National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Elephant Mountain, and Veterans' Village Park in Xinyi District, as
well as Miramar Entertainment Park, Rainbow Rriverside Park, and Bishanyen in Neihu District. Welcome to Taipei and celebrate year 2010 with us! It is a silent business hotel which locates near Songshan Rd. and Wu Feng Pu clothing market place which is shopper’s favorite. Also, Rao He night market is very well-known no matter in Taiwan or overseas. Wonstar is the best place where provides travelers to stay and take a rest. In addition, because the location is at the intermediate zone and the traffic is very convenient, it only takes 10 minutes by car to the world trade center, Living Mall, and Viewshow cinemas. Wonstar is the best choice for business because of convenience and worthy. There are 35 delicate suites in Wonstar and also business suites which provide ADSL for business people. In the business center, there are a self-service coffee bar, reading lounge, and individual office where includes personal computer, telephone and ADSL. "Location wise would be superb! smack right in the middle of wholesaler district wufenpu. hotel located next to a minimart and a very short walking distance to rouhe night market. the only minus point would be the walking distance to the houshanpi MRT station otherwise it'll be perfect. Excellent service from the staff. Very very polite and helpful. Room was abit disappointing. Looks modern but small and very very dusty. I know because when the cleaners came I could see the amount of dust flying around under the sunlight when they drew open the curtains. Felt kinda mortified LOL. Cable TV was superb no doubt, just be careful who's having the remote controller. they include XXX movies as well. Overall I'll say it a reasonable budget hotel to stay in."

"The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The location is 10 minutes away from the MRT, it can be quite a distance to the senior. But it will be a great place for ladies who like to shop, as the hotel just location above the wholesale center, also it it just 15 mins walk to the "rouhe" night market.

"this is a well-hidden hotel ... blink and you'll almost miss it as the entrance is very narrow and set in the middle of the shophouse row it is in
this is the perfect location for shoppers ready to take on the wufenpu shopping area ... this is a budget shopping district and acts as a wholesale distribution centre for shops in taipei (u'll recognise the buyers from the other clothing stores by the trolley bags they pull around while looking out for clothes to sell at their town stores)
the nearest mrt station is 'houshanpi' located 10min away on foot ... in terms of orientation, it is on the far right of the town, so it's not close to central city district for business"

"The room exceeded our expectation, it's extremely clean & comfortable for a two-person stay. The music provided in the room create a romantic mood for us.
There's also a DVD player that can be utilised. We can spend time at the room watching our favorite movie to relax rather than visiting the cinema there.
The location is good for women who fancy fashionable & reasonably priced clothes. The staff at the hotel are really friendly and helpful.
However, the front lobby is a bit too small and give an inferior perception. But dont be deceived, it's overall a worth for money budget hotel!
Highly recommended."
