"Location wise, it's walking distance to ximending but you've to walk pass 5-6 traffic light. Room is terrible! Looks errie, staff did not clean the floor despite being informed that the floor is dirty. But the hotel is undergoing renovation till august. It should be much better than before (i hope). Air con is not strong enough. Breaks down occationally. "

"Overall, other than the location, nothing good I can mention here. The bed is hard to sleep. Totally not worth with this amount charge. I thought I had stay in a motel other than a hotel. No second time."

| "This hotel really very dirty and dumpy especially the washroom. The room equipments was old.The carpeted floor was very dirty.
Overall this hotel need renovation for the whole washroom and change all the equipments. The room really very smelly. The room was very noisy expecially when all the cars and motorcycles past the road.
Please don't stay at this hotel anymore even if you are budget travellers. You will regret.
I booked this hotel for 4 days, after that I want to change to another hotel before 2 days of arrival date but asiarooms won't allow to change because the hotel charges was fully billed into my credit card.
After first sight saw the outside hotel, really dissapoint and then enter the room, more dissapointed.
I checked out after 2 days i stayed at here.Really very uncomfortable to stay at this room anymore. Then decided to leave.
I don't know how this hotel can get 2 star rating. From my opinion, it only can say Hostel and not hotel.
The room charges was expensive if the room was similar with hostel.
I don't know why other reviewer said they will come back again and stay at this hotel.Maybe they are familiar to stay at this type of places.

"The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It's pretty close to Ximending. The room is pathetic for the price they charged. There is no wardrobe to hang your clothes. The carpeted floor is stained. The air quality inside the room is stale. After I left Taipei for another parts of Taiwan, I realised that there are much more better hotels out there charging a fraction of the New World's price."

"Overall stay is pleasant. Some of the staff are very helpful as to adivce tourist when asked about the places to visit, but some simply ignore. The size of the room is able to accomodate 3 adults and 2 children, which is a surprise to our family. But for budget travellers, that hotel is good enough, as it is cheap, quite central to Ximenting and the MRT."
