| "The sign for the hotel's name is in Chinese so the first time trying to look for the hotel may be a challenge. The hotel desk staff seemed friendly and helpful. You have to take your own luggage up to your room in the single small elevator. The room is rather small with very little room to spare. We had the standard room with 2 single beds. The room was really cold so we turned off the air conditioner but it was still cold in the room. The TV didn't have many stations to watch. The bathroom counter had ample room for my toiletries. The tub is raised off the floor and the ceiling is low so a tall person's head may touch the ceiling. There's a small refrigerator with a pitcher of water in the room. There's also a pot of hot water for tea or coffee. There's 2 pairs of disposable slippers in the room. The walls are a little thin as you can hear people talking in the hallway and also from the adjacent rooms. The maid service is very good. The front desk personnel speaks English fluently and was happy to give me directions to the Xi Men MRT station and write instructions in Chinese to show the taxi driver. Be sure to bring along the hotel's business card to help you get back to the hotel. They have a safety deposit box in the lobby for your valuables. The location is good and right in the heart of Xi Men Ding. " |

| "The standard room was really very small and there was not much space to place the luggage. Not sure if the hotel is secure enough coz there is no additional lock or latch from inside the room (it is an autolock door). Would only recommend for budget travellers (not really suitable for children or senior citizens). " |

| "As soon as we arrived we were advised that two whole floors of the hotel had been rendered inoperable due to a major pipe bursting in the early hours of the morning, causing serious flood damage. The manager however advised us in very good English that he would put us up in one of their sister hotels nearby with free breakfast and transit by taxi. This new hotel, Kilin Hotel, was okay, but fairly basic and old. Therefore I cannot accurately rate the Paradise Hotel other than to say it looked very old and in need of repair urgently. Next time I go to Taipei I'll be looking to pay top $ to stay in a nice, Western hotel. Taipei really is a fantastic city by the way - I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrancy, friendliness and excellent food - especially the Shilin Night Market for food and clothing at Jiantan train station. Enjoy!" |

| "We stayed for 3 days in the renovated room of Paradise. The room is a bit small if you have a big luggage like mine. The aircon is very cold. But the staff managed to get a technician to adjust for us. Other than that, it is very clean. There is no bath tub in the toilet, only standing shower which is a bit too close to the toilet seat. Special thanks must be given to the bell man who is so helpful in giving us directions and in arranging our transport to the airport. Location - perfect to the heart of Taipei city - Ximenting." |

| "The staff there were quite polite, attending to our requests almost instaneously. One bad point is that whenever we put our keys with the reception when we are out and try to retrieve our keys, with the exception of one staff, the rest of the staff will just give the key to you without verifying your identity. Meaning to say, as long as you know someone's room number, you will be able to retrieve the keys!" |

| "I definitely would never wanna stay in this Paradise Hotel anymore! I make the booking for three nights... As I arrived the first day, the receptionist told me something wrong with the room due to typhoon few days ago.. So he said the hotel management had arranged us to stay in another hotel nearby for a night.. Well, it was so troublesome as me and my mother have been so tired travelling on flight and when we arrived the hotel after barely about 1 hour drive from the airport, we were told to move to another hotel for a NighT!!! Ridiculous!!! I was really upset that the hotel management didn't even bother to keep us guests informed earlier about the unavailability of the room! I would appreciate if they could just return me my money!!! What make me even more angry was when the taxi driver who sent us to another hotel told us that typhoon had not happent since one month ago! Until the second day, then only I felt more hassle because I have to rush to check-out from the present hotel at 12noon to return to Paradise Hotel! Again that me and my mother to have to carry all my big luggages from hotel to hotel.. When I arrived Paradise Hotel the 2nd day, I had to deal with this very unpleasant receptionist lady(i forgot to take down her name) I told her about my dissafaction about the whole thing but she just look at me with her face telling me she can't do anything much! I am really really very displeased about this unpleasant lady receptionist as she really make me feel like a silly fool! I am very dissatisfied because not only my time was wasted but also the bad services from Paradise Hotel! I felt such a pity that Paradise Hotel had such negative attitude employees from receptionist to concierge.. Oh yeah! The concierge was really bad! When me and my mom arrived the hotel, nobody from the concierge willing to give us, women, a hand to carry our heavy luggages into the hotel as the entry into the hotel was quite narrow and steep with staircase.. The only time they carry my luggages was up to my room which I can even do it myself! Besides that, the concierge provided me the wrong information that I enquire them.. My Goodness!!! How terrible! Although Paradise Hotel is a 3star hotel.. but the services they provided was worst than any other 3star hotel.. Well, I'll never wanna stay in this Paradise Hotel anymore.. The receptionist was bad! The Concierge was bad! The Breakfast was bad! The room was bad! Everything don't make my day... so Sad!" |

| "Stayed at the place for 4 days 3 nights in standard room. Althought the room is not very big but it's just nice for 2 persons.
Try not to use the spare pillows in the drawer coz not very clean, overall is quite clean as the cleaner come every day to tidy up.
You have to bring ur own baggages up to ur room. They do provide taxi service if u need one.
Just few 5mins walk and it's ximending and below the hotel u can find store selling food (noodle store opp is nice). There's plenty of 24hrs conveint store.
The hot water and Aircon is a ++ :)
Best stay for couple :)" |

| "I am very disappointed on the service provided. The first day when we reach there, we were been transfer to another hotel. The excuse is that there is a pipe leakage and no rooms were available.
It really dampen the trip. When we check with the staff with the other hotel, we found out that the room that was provided was much cheaper.
I am really disappointed in the overall service that was given to me. Nothing was told before hand when we reach there. And it look as if i have been short change with another hotel which was much cheaper in price.
