As-it-is:
- great location - smacked right in the middle of popular Ximen Ding.
- clean and quiet room - renovated, sound-proof window.
- helpful and friendly reception - no worries about language barrier.
- food 24hr - food stalls all around + a 7-Eleven a few steps away.
- nearby (Ximen) MRT stn - Taipei Main Stn is one stop away for trains and buses (including airport buses to CKS airport) to other parts of Taiwan.
- VALUE FOR MONEY - considering all the point above.
Would-have-been-better:
- bigger room and wider walkway.

| "Rainbow Hotel is situated smack in the middle of Ximending. It is just 3-5mins walk to the Ximen MRT. Which is one station away from Taipei Main Station.
Rooms were decent though i got the smallest room on the floor. The smallest room is furthest from the walking street so there weren't much noise. However the windows faces the back alley with the next building probably 2.5 metres away. Humming of the aircon units is constantly heard.
Recommend for no frills travelling and definately convenient.
Will use Rainbow Hotel again if in Taipei." |

| "The hotel is located in the middle of Ximending, making it the perfect location for travellers, as Ximending is always bustling with activities, even late at night. Moreover, the push carts selling food are located right outside the hotel, so no worries about going hungry! However, it might be a good idea for the hotel to state the check-in time for travellers. When we arrived at the hotel at 2 plus, we were told that our room was not yet ready but we could deposit our luggage in the room first. The room was in a disgusting mess and that sort of spoilt our first impression of the hotel." |

| "What i like about the hotel is that it is situated right smack in the heart of Ximending, which is also very near to the Ximen Station. The hotel staffs are polite and courteous, friendly. The room service is excellent. One thing to point out is the room attendant who clean up the bathroom everyday without fail, rearranging the toiletries in a the proper order for the occupants. If breakfast is included, i think the stay at Rainbow will be most wonderful." |
