Me & my 2 friends stayed in Rainbow hotel recently, location is definitely good, its located in the center of ximenting shopping district, and just 3 mins walk to the Ximen MRT station. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The size of the room is just nice for 3 of us, but i guess becos of the low ceiling it looks a bit "cramp". Facilities are quite basic, no complain. I know a lot of Singaporean stayed there whenever they go Taipei, and i will definitely choose Rainbow if i visit taipei again.

| "The hotel is located in the middle of Ximending, making it the perfect location for travellers, as Ximending is always bustling with activities, even late at night. Moreover, the push carts selling food are located right outside the hotel, so no worries about going hungry! However, it might be a good idea for the hotel to state the check-in time for travellers. When we arrived at the hotel at 2 plus, we were told that our room was not yet ready but we could deposit our luggage in the room first. The room was in a disgusting mess and that sort of spoilt our first impression of the hotel." |

| "What i like about the hotel is that it is situated right smack in the heart of Ximending, which is also very near to the Ximen Station. The hotel staffs are polite and courteous, friendly. The room service is excellent. One thing to point out is the room attendant who clean up the bathroom everyday without fail, rearranging the toiletries in a the proper order for the occupants. If breakfast is included, i think the stay at Rainbow will be most wonderful." |

| "Location was right in XiMending and a very short walk to the metro station. Service was really good. Only issue with the room was its size. It is VERY small! Overall, still a recommended stay for budget travellers." |
