This is a great hotel in Taipei. The price is reasonable and the room is clean. The outlook of the hotel is much better than the local Taiwanese hotels. It is very convenient to get to the hotel from the airport by the airbus. The airbus route is the cheapest one. It costs only NT$75, and you get off or get on the airbus just right in front of the hotel. It only takes you a 5-minute straight walk to the subway.

| "This hotel is clean & location wise is ok. However, hotel roomn size is too small but clean & tidy with toiletries provided.
Will probably stay there again but must book early for better rates cos if you book 1 to 2 months earlier, the rates are down by 20% but if you book 2 to 3 days ahead, you will never get this rate again.
There is a nearby hotel call Santos Hotel. Looks good! So might consider booking Santos Hotel instead for my next taipei trip.

| "Having never been to Taipei I was not sure what to expect. I booked Sunroute because it is a Japanese owned hotel chain. Living in Japan I have come to expect a high level of cleanliness and service and once again I was not let down. The staff were professional, helping, and friendly. Fluent in English, Japanese, and Mandarin, they were able to assist with every need and situation. This is not a hotel for families looking for entertainment. It is however a perfect location for someone looking for a safe, affordable place to sleep after a busy day exploring Taipei. Please keep in mind that these are Japanese business accomodations... we have grown used to firm beds, for others it may be a surprise.

| "It was a little tricky to find the first time because the map on the hotel's web site is not great. But once I found it, it was very conveniently located, near to the MRT.
Front desk people were very nice and helpful and could speak English.
We had a corner room, so it was more spacious than I anticipated.
Overall, it was a good experience.

| "Sunroute Hotel is excellent for one person who is going to stay for a night or longer. The room was really clean and i liked the Japanese style bathroom. The service was excellent and friendly. The only thing i didnt like was the check in time. I think it would be better if the check in time was earlier. Maybe they should up grade their TV. I thought it was a little old and picture wasnt that great. other than that I would come back again to stay." |
