"I've stayed here a few times. It's a nice hotel, and has the things that are important for me. I don't use the hotels facilities (like pool, room service, gym, etc). What is important for me is a cheap room in a clean, friendly hotel with easy access to shops and department stores, with a good breakfast. There is a good variety of foods, although after staying there for 2 weeks, and eating the same foods every day, some new foods would have been nice. I think there were the same foods available, the last time I stayed there. But if one is there for only a few days it's not a problem. The subway is a short walk (short for me, ha ha I'm only 58 going on to 40), and some department stores are only a few stations away at the Cultural Centre station). You can connect with other trains at other stations. There are some restaurants opposite the hotel car park, but I didn't go there, and also in the hotel itself (I prefer the shopping centre foods). Unlike some hotels that are next to a lot of interesting street stalls, there are very few stalls around here. "

"The hotel is quite pleasant to stay in. However, the only minus is that our room smells like cigaretts. "

"The carpet in the room is so dirty with all the black dirty spots. Shower door in the Bathroom is not installed properly to use for shower. After the shower, the whole bathroom was flooded because water dripping out from the shower room's door. Air conditioning smelled at first night, but later on it was ok starting the 2nd night. I guess no body had been using the room for a long time. All the room on the 5th floor were old and dirty-carpeted. Service was good, people were nice and friendly, location was excellent with the Metro line subway nearby. Just that the hotel needs some renovations to make it more comfortable on the lower floor. Breakfast buffet was also excellent. We will stay there again if Asian room did not put us on the lower floor. Thanks!"

"Service was excellent and staff very friendly. The only negative was my hotel room smelled a little bit of cigarette smoke and I do not smoke. However it was only slightly. Other than that the pool and restaurant was nice - although could have done with the restaurant opening earlier than 6pm. Also gym equipment was slightly dated. The location was perfect for what I needed and very need the MRT. The room was an excellent size, bed extremely comfy and the bathroom was huge with marble floors etc - quite a surprise! I would definitely stay again."

"Chaophya Park has always been my choice. The service by the staff is definitely thumbs up! Free internet is another plus point. The only comment is the breakfast, the variety stays the same without slight changes and this is pretty dull. I can basically remember all the dishes sequence."
