"Welcome to Narai Hotel, Silom Bangkok" Being conveniently located in the city's main business, shopping, and entertainment area of Silom Road, the hotel is also located close to Chongnonsee Sky Train Station, a river pier, and the express way with access to the airport in only 40 minutes. The hotel is named for The King Narai the Great of Thailand. The name Narai in Thai is also used to refer to the Hindu deity Vishnu. An elegant bas-relief of Vishnu can be seen on the wall in front of the main staircase. The "Narai Bantomsin" by renowned artist Kaimook Xuto shows Vishnu reclining on a seven-headed Naga (celestial serpent) while being attended by Laksmi, his Queen.

"Very happy. Was able to access my room straight away. I used the Airport Express bus to get there and it parked up outside the hotel. Room and breakfast were very good. Only downside was that I allowed them to sort me a taxi out and Ithink I could have got the fare cheaper outside. It taught me a lesson!"

"The Narai Hotel is a wonderful place! The staff were all very friendly and it was very clean. The room was large and provided everything we needed. The buffet breakfast food was great and a huge variety. The hotel is close to the patpong markets and there are lots of places to walk to near the hotel. I will definately stay again at the Narai!"

"I had stayed at the Narai Hotel before in 2003 and thought it was great! Unfortunately I was a bit disapointed this time round. The room appeared old and run down. There were stains on the carpets and stains on the bath tub. The reception area remains nice and the location good but there are other hotels which offer better value for money."

"Corridors and rooms with bad smell and look old. Although they are offering tea and coffee when we arrived just had tea. The mini bar was completely empty and there's no snack. To me this seems more a hotel of 2 stars. Not recommend this hotel. The positive side is that it has a good breakfast and good location. "
