"food's selection of breakfast is very poor, the use of internet is pricey and sheets and blankets were stained with dirt by the previous times they were used i guess (not smelly but only stained). finishings of the bathroom are very bad. my stay was short and my opinion about it fits with the average score (divided for all the aspects) the hotel has got according to my judgement. "

"we spent one night there on our return to Bangkok
The value was good, they have a nice pool, the rooms were clean, breakfast was ok, outside restaurant is nice.
Nice staff, quite location and still pretty cose to Kaosan road"

Comments: I was quite disappointed in the Trang hotel. I'd read all of the reviews about it on asiarooms.com, and was convinced that it would be a good choice, but alas, it wasn't. The room was very old and shabby; the bathroom was cramped. The location wasn't that great, but not too bad -- about a 15-to-20-minute walk to Khao San Rd. (not as close as I'd thought). The only good thing about this hotel was the pool, which was quite nice, clean, refreshing. Also, the breakfast area was pleasant, although I wouldn't write home about the food. As for the service, the front desk staff wasn't very friendly either. I'll definitely not stay here again.
