Tarntawan Place, Bangkok

"Tarntawan Place was the perfect base for my visit to Bangkok. It is perfectly located for all the distractions of Silom area, only 3 or 4 minutes walk to Sala Daeng Sky Train Station. 2 minutes walk from Soi Patpong and Soi Pratuchai. Brilliant! As well as the location being fab, the hotel was spotless, the service very friendly and the extra touches impressive. Ok, so they don't have a pool or gym, but there's an agreement with nearby gym for only 400baht for a day pass. They serve breakfast 24 hours a day. I got up late most days, and it was made for me. On my last day, I left early in the morning, and my breakfast was pre ordered and ready for me at 5am. Lovely fresh fruit in the room every day, well stocked mini bar, TVs that actually work, no fee to have guests over etc etc. It's well run and perfect. I will never stay anywhere else in Bangkok from now on! "

"The hotel is ideally situated for business and entertainment as well as night time street markets and everything is within easy reach with SkyTrain and subway connections nearby. Overall the hotel room was clean and comfortable with a very comfortable king size bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the tariff and the menu has a choice of American, Continental or Thai which has to be ordered rather than being set out as a help yourself buffet. This limits you if you are feeling rather hungry in the morning. My partner who is Thai was not treated with due respect by some of the front desk staff perhaps because they thought him to be a bar boy which he was not. Be that as it may, all paying guests should be treated with respect be they Thai or other. Despite this unfortunate incident, I will definitely stay at this hotel again."

"This was my first stay at this hotel, The location was excellent , room very good, good breakfast in the morning and excellent service from the pleasant staff. i would certainly stay here again,without any doubt"
