"Ibis is a budget chain of the Accor group (Novatel etc) and this is one of a couple in Bangkok. Their hotels are safe, clean, comfortable and simply furnished,this is no exception. Friendly,though busy staff. Breakfast adequate. The BTS at Victory Monument is a 15 minute walk or short taxi ride away. There are good restaurants in Soi Rangnam, a 5 mn. walk. Watch out for Taxi touts outside the hotel. Recommended for budget travellers."

"The breakfast is not up to expectation, I stay 4 nights and its the same breakfast through out.The hotel can improve by changing the breakfast menu"

Comments:

Rooms are big and windows can be open to air the room as and when required. Air con is cold enough and also staff are friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and housekeeping did a good job in doing up the room. Only 2 complaints, the bathroom is ok but the shower area is too small and water takes time to drain away despite the housekeeping fixing the problem. And there's no room service, though you can order take away from the hotel cafe and collect it at the lobby when ready.
