| "THE HOTEL WAS BEING RENOVATED WHEN WE WERE THERE. THE BATHROOM WAS IN POOR CONDITION, THE TAP FELL OFF THE WALL SEVERAL TIMES AND THE WATER IN THE TUB RAN CONSTANTLY FOR THREE DAYS. THE CARPET WAS BURNED IN SEVERAL PLACES AS WAS THE BEDDING. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS VERY GOOD AND THE BRITISH PUB WAS NICE. IF PRICES ARE ABOUT THE SAME AFTER THE RENOVATION I MIGHT TRY IT AGAIN." |

| "I always enjoy a stay at the Ambassador. The location is very convenient, with bars and restaurants nearby, including a bar with a train theme, opposite the hotel entrance which has excellent live music. The hotel gym is acceptable, particularly compared to other Bangkok hotel gyms. There is an aviary on the 3rd floor, and I often watch the birds being fed in the morning. The newly refurbished rooms offer excellent value for money." |

| "Ambassador Hotel is located at a very strategic location in Sukhumvit where it is easily accessible to the Nana BTS Skaytrain station, an add-point to shoppers who would like to explore the shopping heaven in Sukhumvit. Since it is located near the Skytrain station, it will also be easy to go anywhere!
Unfortunately the hotel is going thru a massive renovation which was not really at a good time. Patrons will have to passby the renovation location to reach the lift in order to get to the rooms which wasn't really a pleasant one - the debris as well as the noise.
It was another peak for Bangkok at this time of the year as it's a long holiday (if i am not mistaken) for Indians and Middle Easterns since there are tonnes of them. It may be due to the number of check-ins that had frustrated the receptionists hence not giving the full services as it should be. However i reckon that they are not as friendly and helpful as well.
The breakfast wasn't really fantastic at all where patrons will need to "fight" for food most the time not to mention the limited tables/seats available left a number of patrons no choice but to stand at a corner to complete their food.
Despite all others, I still enjoy the stay there and it truly depends on my budget to return to Ambassador Hotel for the next trip to bangkok." |

| "We had booked a main wing room at the hotel. The first night at around 12pm we found bedbugs in the bed. On complaining to the duty manager we were alotted a junior suite in the same wing. The junior suite was spacious and the manager made the change immidiately but the suite was musty and stuffy. That was a really bad night! In the morning we requested them to allot us a newer room instead of the suite and they were pretty cooperative was shifted us to a different room this one thankfully did not have musty carpets. We checked thwe bed and room thoroughly for any bugs but thankfully there were no such problems. The staff and service is good but I will not stay there again. The facilities in the hotel are okay for what you are paying and the breakfast buffet is ok for the same reason." |

| "Had another great stay at the Ambassador Hotel. Stayed here many times before. The work in the Tower Wing has finished and a real improvement to all rooms. The bathrooms are now very new and clean. The staff at this hotel are very well trained and friendly. Will stay again but worry as the hotel might put their room rates up again next year. Good location and great German imported beer to be found at the Old German Beer House only a two minute walk from the Hotel. Can recommend this hotel and will stay again at the end of July. Hope to return again next year if I can get another good deal through AsiaRoom.com." |

| "We were beginning of July 2008 in the Ambassador Hotel. The reception staff was quite friendly, but the rest was between “not good” to “very bad”. We saw on one website that the hotel will undergo a refurbishment scheduled to finish by end of June 2008. When we asked the Hotel, the answer was that the noisy work is all done and only some small painting needs to be done. The reality was, that between 7 and 8 in the morning they started knocking with hammers, a middle part was all demolished and you could not even see anything what was refurbished up to now. On the high floor it should be better, with the noise at least. The hotel rooms are very basic furnished (with a poor taste for Thai) and already old and used up. The carpets on the corridor have already all colors of old food, drinks, construction dust or better not to think about it. Breakfast was fair for the price. Would we book the Ambassador again, NO, better spend some dollars more and have something better. I was happy when I could check out." |

| "We stayed there for 3 days in transit home from Europe and found the staff friendly, helpful and courteous. The staff were attentive of our needs at breakfast and Dinner and in the various bars. As Seniors we felt safe and liked being spoilt by the staff. Very highly recommended as being close to shops and other dining establishments." |
