"Stayed in Ariston Hotel for 3 nights. Location is quite good, 5minutes walk from train station. But not much food options within walking distance. Air condition was not working well in the room I had. As I frequent Bangkok quite often, think there are better value for money hotel in Bangkok.."

"for this price it is absolutely ok, you can reach all points of interest, but the rooms are not so nice. But if you want be central and get a cheap hotel, it is ok"

"excellent hotel - english speaking isnt great but they dont ask questions if u have guests and are very friendly !"
3/5  Posted by MR. ARNOLD, David, United Kingdom in April 2007
"This was a nice hotel, our room was on the dirty side, the walls not the sheets. It was very well located fairly close to the Skytrain station. Although be aware that it is about 500 Metres from Sukhumvit road, down a street with lots of construction and food vendors. There is little to no footpath so it can be a bit hair raising. "

"the cable tv was working bad. the rooms smell a little of smoke. the swimming pool has very clear water. the location is good, only 2 minute walking from Emporium and BTS"
4/5  Posted by MS. CENTER, Catherine, Australia in January 2007
"We were very pleased with the location (close to sky train station and shopping mall). The room was on the 10th floor and was spacious, quiet and had a great view. The swimming pool was reasonable although opening hours were a bit limited. The staff were generally helpful except regarding the minbar. We drank one can of beer which we replaced and they tried to charge us for it. We had an argument with them when we checked out which spoilt our otherwise good impressions of this hotel. C & N (Australia)"
