"This is an excellent 'good value' hotel option if you're staying in Bangkok and want to see the city. Stay here and you'll get a modern hotel with all the essentials of a clean room, clean bedlinen, adequate breakfast and helpful service but at a far lower rate than you will pay at other establishments of a similar standard. But the real winner is the location, it gives you the freedom to explore the city easily by both river and skytrain as they are both just a few minutes walk away."

"Room was adequate. There was no refrigerator or coffee pot in the room. The neighborhood is the only really big downfall. There are no decent restaurants around it except the one in the hotel and no where to get coffee. They should at least have a coffee pot in the lobby. It is close to the business district which is convenient. I would possibly stay again."

"Room was small and dingy and lacking conveniences. Breakfast was terrible. You can find much better hotels in Bangkok for the same price."

"the hotel is OK, nothing special, only very good location in Sathorn"

"I have stayed here many times and have always been more than satisfied. Staff are always warm and friendly and the facilities are excellent for the cost of the rooms. Conveniently located five minutes from the BTS Sky Train with many shops and restaurants in the area but in a quiet location to ensure a good nights sleep. Well worth a visit."

"I was not satisfied when I reached the "Studio" room because the beds and the sofa were too dirty. Service was poor. The corridor was dark. I was frightened to book 3-Star hotel in Bangkok again. "

"Great value hotel for budget travellers. Staff very friendly and helpful.Good location, close to Skytrain station and River ferries."

"During my stay in this hotel for Christmas 2005, comments are follow: - Hotel: quite old, for some people may say it's kinda dirty - Staffs: Not all the staffs are helpful, and at least staff should learn how to smile - Room: no hot water, no hairdryer, TV channel's limited, beds are comfortable and fine - Swimming Pool: small, not enough of pool side chair for guests, so for some sunny days, guests need to "enjoy" by lying on floor, no swimming pool towels provided - Restaurant: not buffet breakfast but it's good that you can have cooking selection on the eggs (e.g. fried, sunny side up, omelet...), limited fruit, tea taste like water, coffee doesn't taste good neither and you have to call them to refill everytime, tostes are fine - Location: it's near by to walk to the BTS station (4-5 mins), however, if i came back late after midnight when there's no more BTS service, Taxi driver never know how to go and it's quite dark to walk back "

"This place use to be an apartment so the facilities are limited. The room is very dark with only one lamp each at the desk and bedside. Breakfast is miserable but the service crew will serve you at your table. It near Robinsons department store behind Shangrila hotel and eateries all around."

"The Sathorn Villa hotel was average. at first day, we couldn't sleep because of the hard beds. like a stone. in the morning they change us the room with no problems. the thing that most interrupt us and upset our enjoy from the hotel was the last day, when we had enough time before our flight, and ask if we can fresh a little before our flight and have a shower in the evning, and answerd approvingly that we can take a shower in the swimming-pool till 8:00 pm. how upset we were when we got ther in 6:00 pm tierd and sweaty and asked for 2 towels and in the reception we've been told that there are no towels for us!!! (even not swiming-pool towels). shame on you!!!!!!!! that can ruined our vacation, and that whats happend..... we will not be there again."
