I enjoyed my stay at Sathorn Villa very much!
i stayed in a triple room for 5 nights and found my stay very comfortable. I got a queen-sized bed and a single spare bed but the three of us squeezed into the queen-sized bed so we mainly hung out on the single.
the hotel itself has a fantastic location - it is near Thaksin Skytrain Station (about 2-3 mins walk) and is 5 mins walking distance from Robinsons. You can even walk to Patpong if you're in the mood for a lovely evening stroll.
it's also near the river station (thaksin pier, right next to the skytrain station) which is extremely convenient if you wish to travel to the temples and grand palace by boat.
service was impeccable and prompt, and it being a small hotel, the hotel staff tend to remember you. because of some flight problems, we only managed to check-in around 10pm bangkok time instead of in the afternoon as stipulated but the staff were nonetheless very friendly and did not seem at all to mind our late check-in.
you can travel anyway from the hotel via skytrain to Chatuchak or MBK, and metered taxis are readily available.
Great stay overall.
