| "The locations in Bangkok City Inn is great with access to major shopping centres and the room and bathroom is quite spacious. Negative comments are that the bed linen is not clean and happened that my wife got bitten by bed bugs! :( There is alot a stench of smell along the corridor but luckily the room is still bearable. Breakfast is also not that fabulous but considering the fact that its cheap right in the city. I will not recommend this hotel as i feel the most important thing is to have a comfortable clean bed to sleep on and this turns me off. Hope they will improve on this matter. " |

| "The location is near to the Pratunam Centre and World Trade Centre, you need to walk into the soi from the main road. Nearest BTS is Chit Lom. Facilities are satisfactory with mini fridge and bathtub. Friendly counter staffs and the morning call service is timely. The food stalls along the main road which you can have supper and walk back within minutes. Enjoy the stay at this hotel and will definitely return next time!" |

| "Generally, this hotel is ideal for budget travellers who have no particular demand and just considering for a resting place. It actually provides you with the basic amenities, room is clean and spacious enough. Staff speaks English and is helpful to your enquiries. The nearest station is Thong Lo and you have to walk to locate the hotel, and it was about 200m way in from the main road. So when coming back in the night, do have company for ladies is recommended. | "Quite satisfied for money spent. Although two things can be improved:
1. the location map/information of how to reach the hotel: it is quite difficult for the taxi drivers (from the airport) to easily recognise the location.
2. free late check out facility: may be extended from 12.30 to 2-3pm on prior request. " |

| "Staff are extremely friendly (especially the afternoon doorman/concierge). The hotel is quite old but great for budget travellers - perfect location for shop-a-holics - only a 10 min walk to the 6 different shopping centres around this hotel (Big C, CentralWorld, Pratunam Centre, Siam Paragon, MBK, Panthip)- its tucked into a small laneway so away from main street traffic - the MRT is also not far away, as well as the bus stops. The main street have market stalls on both sides of the street where you can buy food and clothes/shoes etc. Also not too far from Baiyoke Skytower (I could see it out my window). Breakfast is ok, western and asian foods (buffet style) but you need to get there relatively early as they don't replenish it that often. I would say be there before 8.30am if possible (breakfast hours are 6-10am)
The room has cable tv and free water bottles in the fridge (Overall I would stay here again as a cheap place to stay) Enjoy!!" |
