"Hotel is great. There is a travel agent right across the entry of the hotel, which arranges the bus from/to the airport. We waited at 06:00 for 45 minutes but the bus never came, so we had to take a taxi. This was not great, but the hotel itself was good."

"We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The room was nice big and clean with air conditioning, fridge, safe and a TV set. There is a nice swimming pool on the 5th level as well. The hotel is located on the busy Khaosan road, luckily we booked a room on the top floor. We had a great time in this hotel. It's not the cheapest one, but it's definitely worth the extra money. It costs around 60-70 Baht for a metered taxi from Khaosan road to Patpong :) The only bad thing about the hotel is, that there's no free wireless internet access. Be prepared to pay 60Baht per 1 hours of WiFi internet in your room."

"Our stay was quite comfortable. If you want to experience the action of Khaosan Rd. Buddy's is in the middle of it all. It was a little noisy from all the action outside but not too bad - I had ear plugs with me! Close enough to walk to many of the sights and close to take the Ferry's on the river which was an experience. Lots of shopping! Didn't use the pool - too busy sightseeing! Service and breakfast was good."

"Location is good, right the center of khao san road. Lots of restaurant arround, a coffee shop and McDonald's on ground floor. A pool on rooftop. Buffet B'fast is nice."

"Excellent location for tourist attractions. Clean rooms , nice colonial design. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been a bonus. Good breakfast. Access to wide range of facilities. Only one problem:because of the location the rooms are noisy. Maybe there are quieter rooms at the rear of the building that don't face on to Khao San Road. If you know you will be partying until the early hours then this is not an issue and the hotel comes recomended in terms of overall standard and value for money."

"My room was on the 2nd floor but I was not unduly disturbed by street noise. My major complaint was that the wifi was not available, although I discovered it was available at Coffee World, just outside entrance. There wasn't a room safe in the 1st room they gave me but I was moved within 10 minutes to a room where there was a safe. The breakfast is excellent and the pool really makes this a hotel to stay in, although there are no mattresses/padding on the sunloungers and the woman who works at the pool bar has to be the most unpleasant, miserable and rude person I've met in Thailand. The reception staff were helpful and spoke English."

"The location's perfect for people who want to experience the KSR. Although I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor I was not troubled by noise. The major disappointment was not having the wifi available, although if you go to CoffeeWorld, next to Buddy Lodge, it's available here. The breakfast was a great start to the day but the swimming pool is for me the main reason to stay. Unfortunately there was no pads/mattresses to lie on top of, so was pretty uncomfortable sunbathing, and the woman who works the bar at the pool was the most miserable, unhelpful person I've met in over 12 trips to BKK"

"we stayed 3 nights had a deluxe room with a balcony and a view of a wall some rooms have a better view but not worth the extra unless you get a veiw. very nice swimming pool on the roof but very uncomfortable sun beds.breckfast was very good.outside bar you could not smoke unless you was sat on pavement but coffee shop inside you could smoke crazy. resturant okay but a bit expensive.if i go to this area of bangkok again i would stop at buddy lodge."

"Very good location for people who want to see the pulse of the city. Close to the Royal Palace (approx. 1.5 kilometers), an intense but friendly nightlife suitable for backpackers but also for for families and older people who want a touch of adventure. Staff is friendly and service minded. The room standard is good without being luxuary. Each Deluxe room have a big balcony attached. Nice restaurant and the breakfast is good. We enjoyed the atmosphere of this place."
