There was an ugly building site about 2m from our balconey railing and the grinders and jack hammers went every day from 6am-6pm. The room was serviced very poorly with beds half made and no toilet paper ever left in the room, we had to ask every day. The shower heads need changing and the towels need renewing. Very difficult to get any assistance from the front desk, nice staff but not overly interested in helping you. No tourist information at reception or in room. Louvred room doors let noise and mosquitos in. Pool lounges need replacing, broken old wooden things with no cushions and people drinking out of glass beer bottles in the not very clean pool. Service at the sort of cafe out the front was very poor, took 20 minutes to get a menu and another 20 minutes to place an order.

| "- The roof top pool is a nice touch, especially if you have been out walking around the city all day
- The breakfast included is at the adjacent restaurant and is very generous
- It can be quite noisy at night...even though Buddy Lodge is quiet, the hotel is situated in the heart of Khoa San road and there is a lot of noise from the street at pubs" |
