| "This was my fifth trip to Bangkok in 6 years (early July 2008). I have stayed at several hotels in Sukhumvit and this was marginally the dearest.
My TV did not function properly the first night, but the next day they replaced it. I usually don't eat breakfast in Asia-the milk!! Still the breakfast here was OK and the coffee quite good. I had a room-305-overlooking the street, but was not bothered by too much noise. The room was small by Bangkok standards.
The staff are great and very friendly. The hotel has a cosy feel to it and their drinks in the bar/dining room are cheap.
The location is excellent and if you're smart you do not have to climb any stairs to the skytrain. There is a shopping centre on the way to Asoke with an escalator which takes you to a bridge onto the skytrain access.
There is free internet in the foyer. On the day I left, at 0530hrs, I had an alarm call at 0500hrs and a taxi waiting. 350bht only to the airport. I would stay there again." |

| "Excellent hotel. Contact with the hotel was full of information, including valuable information to me about where to find a taxi at the airport and length of time for transit.
The room was spacious with a small balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. Room and bathroom were clean, housekeeping cheerful and efficient. There was an additional sink in the room too, which was surprising but actually handy. Decor throughout is clean, white and minimal but not stark.
The breakfasts were OK, evening meal was good, Italian influenced.
5 minutes to the nearest skytrain.
Very happy at the Drop Inn and would go back.

| "Stayed 2 nights in this inn. First night I stayed on the street side and had to wait about 1.30 am until bars nearby stopped playing music. Tried to change the room but it was not possible even though empty rooms were available. Should had to pay a full charge! The room was pretty much unused.
Breakfast ok, same same but different a little bit. No newspaper.
TV has three foreign channels: 24 hr football, Raitalia (about food) and CNN (mostly about US politics). A couple of national channels out of tune, standard in Thailand.
Next night on the other side, much more quiet. Air-conditioning units are noisy everywhere in Thailand! Hard madrass. In the 5th floor water pressure is minimal and shower almost broken. Some bugs around but it's normal in Thailand. Nothing bigger than my big toe! A little bit over-priced but otherwise nice, clean inn. Nice welcoming gesture. " |

| "My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Drop Inn Bangkok and will certainly recommend it to our friends. Although it is a small hotel, it is large on friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Our reservations and enquiries were always promptly addressed. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which was more of an extra large room than a suite.
The location was excellent, conveniently located near the Asoke BTS, Sukhumvit MRT and 7-11. Best of all, it is a quiet, cosy but stylish respite from the ferentic activity in the main street near by.
The signboard to Drop Inn is not very prominent and our taxi driver missed it when we arrived. The hotel is near the entrance of Soi 20 on Th Sukhumvit, on the right - just past the 7-11." |
