"Thanks Dynasty ! Overall a hotel to stay at, nice personnel/staff. Service exellent. This is the land of smile ! Even outside the hotel I got two friends, one watering flowers and trees and second the securityman at daytime, very nice people. I had a very pleasant time, Thanks again !"

"This hotel caters primarily to tours--every night 6-7 bus loads of Asian tourist descended on the hotel for the night--The breakfast buffet was crowded and selection was always the same--elevators were over extended and at the wrong time of day a long wait to access your room--The desk staff were not helpful, as we due to transportation problems, wanted to extend our stay a few extra days--the price quoted was twice the internet price--we were forced to change hotels and actually got more value for less price--I have stayed many times in this area of Bangkok and this is definitely not a good value for the money--much better value can be received from other area hotels-- Our reservation arranged by AsiaRooms was flawless and as we have used this service before we will continue to book through this agency- "

"I enjoyed staying in the Dynasty Hotel Bangkok which I found and book via Internet not knowing that this hotel was in the middle of now where (no other hotels around, no shops) along a canal with durty water (although I enjoyed visiting the city on the boat). I think I was the only tourist in the neighbourhood, I had my meals on the street surrounded by Thai people, nice experience and in the Hotel there where only Asian tourists and at the reception Desk they could hardly speak English (funny...). The hotel is good value for the price. "

"We stayed in the exec suite room for 5 days which is a twin rooms type with 2 toilets, two fridges, 2 tv .Not a flashy hotel but for $60 a night ,worth the money and you get to see the real Bangkok by the small river. The problem was that lower floors from 11th down have no wireless access so i have to go down to the lobby. A long walk to the main road, although safe, not suitable for older folks. I would suggest they put a golf cart type of transportation to drive guests around. Will be back and hope they improve above soon."

"Nice hotel to stay, didnt like it on the top floor that much coz some pump is standing higher. If it works properly you will not hear him that much. But if it goes down (dont know wether it was a mailfunction, but i think so), then it drives you nuts by switching on/off. When it happened the pump was shut down and later started again, but was also switched on to early(4am) and could call again. But ok. Hope temporary. CLose to canal which smels, spcialy when boats come through, so with lower floors and open window, you are not happy. Toilet is asian standard, too small, should be replaced. There are some more things that could do better, due to wearness. Though the breakfast was more and less every day the same, but good. You could pick for asian or western, but i thought it was ok! Hotel is in a little alley placed in the back, so no noise from the road and traffic, just walk about 100 meter and there is bangkok. People were very helpfull, nice. English is to ecpected everybody talks, but its not so. Have patient and use some positive body language, they are willing to help. Before i go home, will go back there for remaining time to wait for flight. "

"There was a mix up with the room, however this was sorted out the next day. The staff were very helpful, especially the restuarant staff. I would recommend paying a little extra to upgrade your room, and this is comparitive to a 3 class hotel in NZ. Within walking distance of malls, cinemas, night(street) market."

""We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful. The position was ideal. The only thing is the menu in the breakfast for 5 days is the same all the time. We will be pleased to stay again and would recommend it to friends. ""

"good to stay"

"I had a bad time staying in this hotel. It's my first time and its so ridiculous that the hotel went blackout on the 3rd June 2008, 10.00pm - 1.00am. I have an exhibition opening on the next day and I have to stay at the lobby with other guests with no choice climbing up the stairs to 11th floor to my room. I am quite dissappointed with this hotel offered at this price of USD 49.00. There are so many mosquitoes at the lobby area. During my checkout period, I even asked for a rebate/compensation on my hotel room but what they tell me is NO. The hotel location is too crowded with students and it's not really convenient to go to the city. You will need to pay 100 Baht ++ to reach City Area."
