"The hotel was outstanding on all facets however as we were relaxing by the pool on our last day we were 'scammed', by a woman who was directed to us by someone on the staff. after listening to her tale of woe we gave her $250AUD!! Our choice yes, but at a hotel such as this how was she able to accost us 5 floors up and at the pool. We learnt a hard lesson- travellers beware because it definitely had inside help"

"Past reviews have stated that the rooms have looked run down and worn. Though carpet is getting old everything else about the room and bathroom is faboulous. The location is best in Bangkok. You can walk out of the hotel and have access to multiple shopping and eating venues. There's a Starbucks, Boots, McDonalds, bank, internet cafe, and BTS station right outside. The staff is great, especially the concierge. I'd definetly stay there again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are great. The staff are very friendly and efficient. However the restaurant in the lobby which serves breafast buffet needs to add more variety. The food is ordinary and limited. The hotel has direct access to the skyway and the foot bridge leading to Central World. The location is perfect. "
