Based on two overnight stays (Oct. and Nov., 2006):
POSITIVES
· Very close to the new Suvarnabhumi Airport. (Hotel can be seen west-southwest from the concourses.) Taxi takes less than 10 minutes. Taxi-fare: 80-120B. (Get taxi curbside on the first level, NOT from the touts in arrival area on second level.)
· Fabulous complementary breakfast buffet: large choice of Asian and Continental items.
· Inexpensive: a great value, all things considered.
NEGATIVES
(all could easily be corrected by the management)
· Map at website and on business cards is poor: spatially inaccurate and with no compass directions.
· Staff seems oblivious to specific room requests (if any) made at time of reservation. (You may thus need to remind them during check-in.)
· While the coffee shop/restaurant has a printed menu with a huge selection of items, a smaller picture menu is also offered. Seemingly a good idea, but the two menus are virtually impossible to integrate. (Also, when we ordered a pictured item, we received a different, more expensive one; no apology was forthcoming.)
Overall, the Grand Inn Come is a FINE CHOICE for those staying only one night in Bangkok, and who wish/need to remain close to the airport.

| "This hotel has everything you want if all you are after is a stopover close to the airport. Not for tourists as it's in the middle of nowhere but for a quick stop over near the airport it's value for money, big room, good food, cheap price, transport to and from the airport.
Watch out for the entertainment after 9 in the dining room if you want a surprise !!

| "10 minutes from the airport by Taxi and straight off the expressway so no worries about Bangkok's traffic jams.Staff were efficient and courteous, room clean and tidy although a bit tired looking. Bed was hard but suprisingly comfortable, tea/coffee facilities in the room and a reasonable spread for the buffet breakfast. If your just stopping for one night its perfect and very good value." |

| "We used this as a stop-over hotel when arriving in Bangkok and needing a place to crash before getting a connecting flight the following morning. This was perfect for waht we needed. Only about 5/6km from the airport it was really easy to get to. Most impressive of all was the service - we received a wonderful welcome, much needed after a long flight! The room, although basic (and in line what we had paid for and expected) was spacious and clean. I wouldn't have stayed there for a long period of time and I can't comment on food as we left before breakfast, but the staff were wonderful and i would definitely go there again if I needed to stay near the airport." |

| "The hotel is around 5 - 10 min from the airport, and proved to be a good choice for getting a few hours sleep prior to a connecting flight.
the room is basic, but surprisingly spacious. the staff were efficient and check in was quick. also the hotel provide a free shuttle back to the airport.
great value, less than half the price of the novotel that is connected to the airport, and for a few hours, or 1 night the hotel is sufficient.
also worth noting that the food i ate in the lobby cafe was great, tasty and good value.
