"This was the first time I have stayed at this hotel. I come to Bangkok at least once a month and have stayed at many and varied hotels. This one is quite good for the money and the major plus is the location and ease of getting around from here. Shopping centre attached and IT mall as well. I highly recommend this hotel."

"This is our 4th time staying in this hotel. The location is excellent with easy excess to MRT and shopping centres. The staff are courteous and helpful. The room is clean and housekeeping service is very good. Breakfast is also very good."

"The room was very good, only the bathroom was a bit dated but clean. Very good location, near MRT. Breakfast was average but we expected better for a 4 star hotel."

"Stayed at this hotel 2 nights. good location, clean hotel, good friendly staff, not as modern as some hotels, but still good for stay in bangkok. I would stay there again."

"We had stayed in this hotel in June and decided to stay again for two weeks split by a week elsewhere. This first week was generally pleasant with breakfast taken on the ground floor restaurant which was a nice start to the day. We had however asked for a double but were given twin bedded room. The hotel is well situated for low cost eating, shopping mall and underground connection. The hotel is good value for money although in places is beginning to look a bit tired. Although the staff carry out their duties to varying degrees of efficiency, I am not convinced that they have the interests of the guests at heart. Will consider other options for future visits."

"Very attentive and helpful. Food snd service excellent. Staff all without exception absolutely brilliant and could not have done more to make us welcome. The amenities were very good. My stay confirmed that the Thai people are so hospitable and friendly."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Mecure and found the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel's chinese restaurant had a good menu and the food and service was good, the hotel's bakery also had a good range. We would recommend this hotel to others."
