Hotel staff friendly and efficent. Service was of a high standard and breakfast was very good. No complaints and would stay there again.

| "First comment..their breakfast was FANTASTIC! The breakfast definitely made up for the lack of light and sort of a closed in feeling of the Opal Studio (across the road from the main hotel). Also, there were several cracks and water damage on the walls of our suite, but overall the place was clean and the bathroom was nice. Full apartment sized fridge and sink. Overall, after coming to Thailand for the 3rd time, I didn't feel that the Opal studio was great value for the money. Because of the great breakfasts, I will stay here again... but next time will spend a bit more and book a better room. " |

| "It was disappointing that our rooms confirmed rooms were not recorded in the hotel's system when we arrived. This is a heart-sinking experience after the great anticipation of a nice holiday with everything already paid for in advance.
It was an internet booking that was confirmed through email and sms as well. We were told that the booking agent, Pacific, had not faxed our confirmation eventually. As such, we might have to pay again despite my VISA payment already made earlier.
We were however accomodated by the good hotel and kudos go to Guest Relations Officer Leo, who made us feel assured throughout our stay that all will be worked out. Well done Leo! See you again soon!" |

| "The stay in this hotel is generally good. The breakfast was sufficient and the service in this hotel is great. Most of hotel staff speaks English and my travel mate and I were able to ask for directions quite easily. However, we felt that we paid too much for the taxi charges to the tourist attractions. We also found out that we could have paid 3times lesser than normal if we had gone out of our hotel to book our travel trips/tour packages. I would personally wish to stay in a hotel nearer to Central next time, as this hotel is about 3train stops away from main shopping district." |
