"Staying at Jim's Lodge is a good bargain especially for people who are at a budget. The staffs are cordial and friendly. The location is within a quiet residential area in Bangkok yet is only 3 Skytrain stations away from the busy touristic shopping places of the city. My only suggestion for improvement is that they should open their breakfast table earlier from 7am to 6am instead to cater to those guests who have signed up for a package tour."

"The location of the hotel is good, close to the embassy and close to the shops. Bathroom is very very small. Mostly Asian business people stay in this hotel. Hardly any european guests. They will tell you that taking a guest with you will cost you another 350 baht. You also have to pay extra for the usual 2 bottles of water in the room. Very small street, hard to find even by taxi drivers."

"My only requirements for accomodation are low. Just clean, tidy and safe. However, I found cockroaches in my room. There are better choices under the same price range, and I will not be here again."

"Wonderful cozy place to stay in. Value for money and very conveniently located. The food they served for breakfast is very simple and nice. Had already recommended it to some colleagues who will also be travelling to bangkok for a holiday."

"Jim's Lodge was a pleasant surprise. The location was what drew me to there, and I was pleased when I realised that the sky rail is just down the road, markets are 10 minute walk away, and there are taxi-scooters all along the road. The service and staff could not be faulted. I especially would like to make special mentioned of the cleaning ladies who would always greet you with a smile and hello. The room itself was great with quite a lot of space, with cable TV, comfortable bed (I opted for the queen-sized), wardrobe, large bar fridge, balcony (although somewhat smallish, and an adequate bathroom. The restaurant adjacent provides a good breakfast, but also an excellent dinner option. The only let down was the traffic noise that could be heard through the windows. However, I was in a room that was street facing and it was the weekend. Overall this is a great place to go for people who are aiming for a mid-level priced accommodation that is still high level quality, security and value!"
