The Peninsula is the best hotel I''ve ever stayed in, and (if you''re used to U.S. or Euro hotel rates) an incredible value for the price. The location along the Chao Praya is a little away from tourist attractions, but both the Chao Praya Express river boat pier and the terminal for the SkyTrain are only a 5 minute boat ride across the river on one of the Peninsula''s complimentary ferries from the hotel''s pier.
The food was great, and the room was just amazing - your every need is catered for, right down to a TV in the bath. We were in heaven.
I have friends going to Bangkok next year and I have not hesitated in recommending this hotel to them.

| "An excellent location and a beautiful hotel.We stayed only a couple of nights but enjoyed it a lot.Be warned..must have deep pockets....The buffet dinner at the River front cafe is to die for...and we ate so much, thought we might.The pool is beautiful and such a contrast to the surroundin environment.River boats make it that much easier to get aroung Bangkok.My second visit to Bangkok and definately staying on the river again,hardly a tuk tuk to be seen......." |

| "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zazen and after a couple of days felt like a part of the family.My partner soon grew tired of the busy,dusty roads and trying to 'discover' Samui and was more than content to laze away at the pool and enjoy the Zazen environment,like an oasis with cocktails....we look forward to staying again in the future sometime...we did not have beach front bungalows but next time definately...thanks Zazen....." |
