Would I stay at this location
again:

Most likely
I had the Grand Balcony Room on the 31st floor. Amazing views. The actual room itself however was relatively small and seemed to be overpacked with furniture giving the clustered feeling. The balcony was extremaly small, outside furniture was terrible. The bathroom was great, with Molton Brown products. There was a leak from the main shower which got onto the main bathroom floor near the door. The bathtub comes with a TV so you can watch TV whilst bathing. The audio setup is standard, I connected my iPod to the Tv but could not get the sound in the bathroom. There is a dressing area/closet room, so no need to keep luggage in your main room. Reception was a joke to check-in, so many people, had to queue. Once I got to a desk, I had to wait for my room, they did provide complementary drinks (but I had to ask for it-not a nice touch). Travel to BTS was easy via the hotel's boats. The staff on the boats were fantastic, amazingly helpful and friendly, nicest part of the hotel I think. The Hotel also has old S-class limos, which can be hired for £15 an hour, not bad. Overall lovely fantastic hotel, the bathroom was great, the room was ok, the balcony was small, but the view was phenomenal.

"An excellent location and a beautiful hotel. We stayed only a couple of nights but enjoyed it a lot.Be warned..must have deep pockets....The buffet dinner at the River front cafe is to die for...and we ate so much, thought we might. The pool is beautiful and such a contrast to the surroundin environment.River boats make it that much easier to get aroung Bangkok. My second visit to Bangkok and definately staying on the river again, hardly a tuk tuk to be seen......."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zazen and after a couple of days felt like a part of the family. My partner soon grew tired of the busy, dusty roads and trying to 'discover' Samui and was more than content to laze away at the pool and enjoy the Zazen environment, like an oasis with cocktails....we look forward to staying again in the future sometime...we did not have beach front bungalows but next time definately...thanks Zazen....."
