It was my second time to stay in Plaza Athenee, but the first time since it joined Royal Meridien Group. Compared with last time, level of serivce and facilities surely increased. I spent quite pleasant three nights there. It is in a walking distance to the nearby Sky Train station, but the condition of the walkway is very bad. Catching a cab is also a bit hard. There are always a few cabbies waiting at the hotel gate. Needless to say, they are notorious rip-offs.

| "Staff exceptionally polite. At the swimming pool area you would not believe you were in the middle of a busy city and on the fourth floor. Only disappointment and nothing to do with hotel is that the pavements were not too easy to walk on as they were in the middle of being relaid. Would definitely revisit this hotel." |

| "the hotel was fine generally. disappointingly there was no hair dryer in the room, despite there being an iron and ironing board - i was not the only one down at breakfast sporting wet hair! the room was also not very well sound proofed and it was easy to hear even small noises from the surrounding rooms. overall the experience was not enjoyable and i was very glad to be only booked to stay there for one night." |

| "Very helpful staff, eg confirming flight bookings, finding out train timetables.
Excellent breakfast buffet.
Nice pool, particularly for a city centre hotel.
Can't be faulted in any way.
We were upgraded as the hotel was fully-booked. whilst this was a very nice surprise, my ratings would have been the same in the original booking.
