| "Price is good for their hotel room standard but noisy as you can hear people talking and closing doors when you are inside the room.Abit far away from BTS station, about 15min walk. My suggestion is to request for higher level room and room that are not facing the main road so that you will not be disturb by the roaring sound of cars in the middle of the night......" |

| "Overall experience was quite ok. It's a real steal for the amount you paid and what you get. The waiter at the breakfast table was really rude though. My shower handle support broke on the last night I was there. Hotel room was relatively clean overall. Other than that, it was a really pleasant stay there. except for the construction noise that was going on just right beside the hotel. " |

| "We told the taxi driver to drop us off at Asia Hotel before making our way with initial difficult to Samran Place (due to the wrong directions given by the bellboy of Asia Hotel for obvious reasons!) but we finally got to the hotel. It was near to the BTS (3 mins - fast walkers, or about 5 - 6 mins for normal walkers) and various 7-11s, as well as an A&W up the street (which I, sadly, only discovered on the way to the airport when the taxi passed it).
Most importantly, they allowed us to early check up and upgraded our room to that of a superior room, which was spacious and clean. The bathroom was wayyy cleaner than I expected. The room also came with a balcony, while the cleaners do change towels and tidy up the room every morning.
Not to mention, there were free breakfasts (you could choose from a menu which ranged from American Breakfast to Fried Rice, Noodles in Soup, Pancakes etc) and accompanying it, staff who could converse in English, were relatively friendly and helpful (with even the security guard giving us travelling advice and helping us get a metered taxi on our last day).
Being near to the BTS and major roads (and diagonally to Pratunam area if you walk) helps alot as well.
Of course the hotel doesn't have facilities like swimming pool or gym, but I doubt that's what many woud want to do on a trip to BKK.
I would say it's good for couples who are travelling on a low to mid budget, to big group of friends. The price is definitely reasonable for our S$175 cost for 6 days, 5 nights, inclusive of breakfast.
I would most definitely go back and have recommended my friends and family to do so as well.

| "Rooms and toilets were nice, bright and clean and there was a regular flow of hot water when showering. The additional bed however the springy sort and not a normal bed so it was not as comfortable for the third person. TV channels were limited. The ala carte breakfast was pretty yummy though I felt that it wasn't really enough but i guess most food in Bangkok tend to come in pretty small portions.
Location of samran is quite ideal since the BTS station is just about a 10 mins walk away so getting around was a breeze. A must try is also the massage place that is located just beside the hotel esp after a long day. To sum it all, Samran Place is a real great value for money which was beyond my expections. I would definitely stay there again. " |

| "Overall I like this hotel, especially the services they have provided. With this cheaper rate, I would think that this Hotel is great and not to forget to say that their staff are very friendly and helpful. In short, i enjoy my stay in this hotel, and I would definitely come back to this Hotel in the future." |

| "I stayed in the hotel during June 29-July 3 and July 7-10. Overall the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel is located in a safe and good location. It takes only 5 minutes walk to the Rajthevi skytrain station. If you love to shop, you would love this place because Siam Square is not far away, just only one station away from Rajthevi.
Since I had to go to Phuket during July 4-7 ,I was worried that I had to take my big luggage with me when I checked out on July 3. I was surprised that the hotel had a storage room where I can leave my luggage until I checked in again. I highly recommend this hotel! " |

| "The elderly lady at reception in the morning is totally rude arrogant and doesnt care a damn about the guests. She has a dont care attitute and even had the audacity to point to her name tag when i said i will complain.
Unlike other hotels they dont give the breakfast vouchers in advance inspite of my full payment was done in advance. She refused to give me the breakfast vouchers saying its 10 o clock i said i need only coffee not breakfast.Shes seems involved in bungling of breakfast vouchers for sure.
Disciplenary action should be taken by the hotel management against this staff member.
Rooms are never available before 1.
The hotel rooms are okay.
The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from Big C or Platinum Mall which is not convenient.
I would definately not stay here again and pay for rudeness." |
