Really value-for-money, great for budget travellers.
Room is clean, surprisingly spacious and staff are service oriented. Location is rather convenient as its close to MBK, Platinum Mall, Pratunam Mkt etc. Food also readily avail at the stretch of roadside stalls/7 eleven 5mins walk from the hotel. Otherwise, room svc standard is generally good and cheap too.
Only drawback is the internet access as there's no wireless and only 2 internet stations (not always working) at the lobby @ per 5 min chg. Rather pricey compared to internet cafes too.
Generally good for the price, definitely consider staying there again.

| "I stayed there Aug 22-25, I find the hotel bldg to be small and old looking BUT the rooms are very clean, specially the bathroom, its IMMACULATE!
It's about 5 minutes walk to the nearest BTS Station so its easy to get around Bangkok. I tried walking to MBK and I find it far from the hotel (about 20 minute walk), or maybe the super hot and humid weather makes a rather short walk seems soooo long.
There's a massage parlor adjacent to the building, and a Thai Massage for 1 hour will cost you 200BHT. A short walk towards the BTS Station will get you to food stalls (open only at night). There's a 7-eleven convenience store across the street (near the walkway).
From the hotel, a taxi ride to Panthip IT Plaza, Baiyoke Sky Hotel, or MBK will cost you 40BHT (it's metered taxi). TukTuk sometimes costs more than taxi, so beware!
The construction site beside Samran Place is only noisy during the day, so unless you're sleeping during the day, noise will not be a problem.
Breakfast if forgetable, non-buffet, but filling.
My friend forgot her cellphone in the room and was worried it might get lost. But luckily its still there when we comeback. So even if they doesn't have safe in the room. I believe your belongings are safe.
I definitely recommend this hotel to budget travelers looking for clean, quiet, and safe accommodation." |

| "I was very happy with this peaceful and modest hotel. The hotel is in a handy location as it is only a 5min walk from the nearest monorail station and only a 15min from the main shopping district. I will be staying at this hotel for my next visit to Bangkok. " |

| "We had a pleasant 4 days 3 nights stay at Samran. In general, the staff are friendly and helpful. The distance to the nearest BTS station is about 10-15 mins walk. The hotel also provide taxi service to place of interest and airport, and the driver is really helpful, polite, friendly and nice. Thanks." |
