Would I stay at this location
again:

Most likely
The only negative comment I would make relates to the Breakfast. I stayed 7 nights and went to breakfast at 6.ooam (the starting time) I found the dishes that should have been hot were cold. I believe this could be easily remedied by (a) Lighting the food warmers earlier, and (b) increasing the dining room temperature by adjusting the air-conditioning. It's freezing, set too low, I observed many guests obviously feeling cold at breakfast.

"i hope they close this place soon, what a bad attitude the gril at the reception had, i even got sick from the food at the breakfast, first when you see the hotel you think woooowww but this place really sucks i recommend no one to go i that place. I wish also asia rooms would remove that place from his hotellist its really a way to loose costumers "

"The room is ok. Things in the room (furniture, doors etc) is not in good condition. The location is good for those who wants to take transport from Southern Bus Terminal to southern part of Bangkok. Otherwise, the hotel is very far from city shopping area. Do not expect too much from the breakfast. The dishes were simple and cold. The dining room is freezing cold."

"We greatly enjoyed staying at the SD Avenue Hotel. The standard is reasonable and the location is relevant. The aircon is rather noisy."

"This hotel is definitely good value for money. The location might not be what everyone is looking for, but for me was perfect as it is near to the Wat Pho, where I was studying a 5-day massage course. The room was clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you are trying to keep your costs down, but at the same time looking to stay somewhere half decent."

"We stayed at two different hotels during our 5-day stint in Bangkok, and compared to the other place, SD Avenue is a total bliss to stay in. The reception staff are really helpful and friendly, and the hotel's just a 20-minute walk away from the Southern Bus Terminal (to go to the Floating Markets). The jetty to other places down the Chao Phraya River is a 15-minute walk away. (It's so cheap to take the boat!) Transport back to the hotel from the city might be a little tough though, as most cab drivers are not fond of coming this way. To save a few baht get the driver to stop opposite the hotel when you're coming back from the city, otherwise you have to travel really far to make a U-turn back to the hotel (bear in mind the traffic jams).
