| "We returned to this hotel this year for 6 nights after stopping over for just 2 nights last New Year.
We paid extra on both occassions to stay in the Horizon Club - last year was a really lovely experience which was why returned.
This year it had all changed! Firstly, even though we had paid upfront, they made us wait until we had unpacked our suitcase in reception to hand over a credit card (they wouldnt accept debit)before letting us into our room - even though we had been travelling a while and had a 3 month old baby with us! We then had to change rooms twice. The overall feel and service had gone downhill since the previous year. They have also cut off the Kungthrup Wing so you cannot use this pool, not great as this is the only pool with shade so we couldnt use the other with the baby!
All the 'little touches' that made this a 5 star hotel had gone too. It was really dissappointing. If you want a 5 star hotel book the Kungthrup wing as they treat this wing as superior...or stay somewhere else!

| "Fantastic service, great views of the river and very close to the sky train. Pool was good and interiors were beautiful if exterior is looking it's age.
stayed in the horizon club with free tea, coffee and snacks all day. Great value. Staff were superb" |
