"Yes,the higher room rate is definately worth it. I have stayed in 3 other Hotels in Silom -Sofitel,Tawana and Serene. From now on I will be going back to the Swiss Lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Superior room was clean and quiet. Beds extremely comfortable.Good breakfast, excellent evening dining.Great location for train, shops and restaurants.Irish pub down the road that serves nice food."

"Bath-tub stopper wa so tight, I thout it was broken and called an housu keeping staff to fix it. She opened it with a full streght and did not fix it. The maid opened it from the outside of the bath-tub with right posture with dry-hand, but if you open it from inside of the tub with sort of crooked posture, with slipperly wet-hand,it is hard to open it. I always feel very difficult to choose between SwissLodge and Silom Serene Hoetel. Because, the location (closeness to MTR and various restaurants) is better at SwissLodge. But the hotel building and room itself (crisp clean brightness, newness, etc) is better at Silom Sirene. Services at the reception and at bell-boy is both good. Service standard of Silom serene varies from a person to person, while all the yong girls at the reception of SwissLodge seems more well trained. Brekfast almost same, may be a little better at Silom Serene. Silom Serene is usualy a few hundreds BHT cheaper and also hundles by more agents. It is a hard choice, is the higher room rate of SwissLodge realy worth it? "

"Lovely Hotel very close to Silom but in a quiet enough location. Staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. One thing to note is that although the hotel was in Bangkok there were no Thai language channels available on the room TV (I will leave it up to you to decide if this is a 'good' or 'bad' thing!) "

"This hotel we found ok. Room good and clean. Breakfast good. A few minutes walk from the skytrain. Friendliness of staff could be better."
