The location is the one good point about this hotel.Very hard to beat.
The breakfast also is good, friendly staff, and small and cozy atmosphere.
The rooms etc are adequate - I suspect the pric would be considerably cheaper if the location wasn't as good.
The pool - mmmmmmm.....not much to be said, defintely not for a holiday location,

| "Lovely Hotel very close to Silom but in a quiet enough location. Staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast buffet was great.
One thing to note is that although the hotel was in Bangkok there were no Thai language channels available on the room TV (I will leave it up to you to decide if this is a 'good' or 'bad' thing!)

| "While the location is good for those who like to frequent Silom and Patpong area, the price is a bit steep. The staff service is good. Though there is a swimming pool which is small, there is no gymnasium. The breakfast provided wasn't that tasty and lacked variety. Bathroom is spacious and clean but the shampoo is not of good quality. After shampooing, you can feel that the hair is dry and not smooth. Overall, the cleanlinesss and room facility is good. I especially like the sensor touched door key. The airconditioner functions well and the safe box is easy to use. Not to mention that there is complimentary coffee and tea :) " |

| "This hotel is friendly and the rooms and breakfast are first class. The lobby area is small and simple but the service is very good. We would have stayed again at the end of our holiday for a longer period but we could not get the same rates that we originally got. We tried Asia Rooms but were told there was no availability, while we knew there was. The explanation was that there were no rooms left at the internet price. This was disappointing as we could not afford the higher price since we were a big family. We found a cheaper price at a nearby hotel but somehow felt rejected as we had come to feel at home at the Swiss Lodge. I suggest that people should be given the same rate if they wish to extend their stay provided of course that there is availability. It leaves a bad feeling otherwise and is not good for public relations! " |
