Certainly the staff were helpful and the hotel had some nice architectural features but overall it seemed rather dated and dark. The exterior of the hotel was suffering from green algae growing on the walls and the shower absolutely poured water onto the bathroom floor. Beds & pillows very comfortable and clean. Can't say the same for the carpet. We found lots of hair which implies the vacuuming wasn't thorough. Pool was nice size but wouldn't use the showers as the algae covering the drain was too nasty to stand on. What the hotel needs is a thorough makeover, brighten it up, treat the algae and slap some paint on.

| "I`ve stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions now.Got a great rate through this site both times.
The room was clean and well appointed, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and really nice pool and gym.
About the only gripe i have is the high price for use of the internet there.
150 baht for 30 mins is a bit excessive.
I would advise anyone who stays there and wants to explore Bangkok to get a map and use the nearby Metro instead of a taxi.
The traffic around that area is chaotic. " |

| "I am by no means a negative person and always try to look on the positive side of things but during our stay at this hotel, there was little to say that was positive. I stayed at this hotel back in 2006 and it has gone down the drain very badly. This visit we were put into the wrong room and had to move to the other room on our own, no hotel staff to help us with all our baggage, plus we were expected to go down and change our room keys ourselves, they didnt even offer. Had bed bugs. Phones in rooms stopped working. Only 1 or 2 channels worked on the television. Beds were not changed with clean sheets. Sheets also had holes. Mold and stains all over room's floor, walls and bathroom. The only people who seemed to make an effort to be friendly and accomodating was the doormen, fitness center workers and concierge. The woman in the computer/business office was extremely grumpy, unfriendly,as made me feel as if i was a huge burden to her to just purchase internet usage. A few people at the front desk and restaurant werent very pleasant or welcoming either. When we went for breakfast the staff made it very obvious that there were 2 seperate rooms to eat in--if you got a cheap deal on a room, you went to the less-enjoyable room to eat. We stayed a few days beyond what i booked on this website so when we went for breakfast on a day that i paid full price for, we were directed into a nicer room to eat. The staff almost seemed to turn a nose up to those who paid cheaper prices to stay there. They gym was really dirty, smelly and had mold on the floors. Its obvious that this hotel has not been and is not taken care of very well and I will not stay here again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. " |

| "Facility is little bit older, but room size is big enough and clean. Buffet type breakfast menu is poor. The location is good.(quiet and near the subway station)" |

| "The location is OK, near the MRT station, but the swimming pool is not quiet good. Because the building cover the sunshine. The facility (such as the electric bulb), the hotel haven't changed the failed one. Overall the feeling is too old..." |
