| "the hotel is in a great location along rambutari road. However there is many hotels in the area that are cheaper and offer the same. Was very disapointed with there extended argument we had on checkout regarding a can of coke we did not drink. " |

| "My wife and I booked a STANDARD room for an extra nights stay before and after a tour of the area. The STANDARD room dingy and smelled of mold so badly we had to go out and purchase air freshener! One the last night of our stay the hotel upgraded our room which was a HUGE improvement. It was like night and day. I would NOT get a standard room ever again there, but I would go back if I had an upgraded room." |

| "Viemgtai is at a great location, just around the corner from Khao San Road. It has a bunch of bars and little restaurants right outside, on the street. The room is nice and big. Good price-value." |

| "The location of this hotel is very central.
Close to the piers, grand palace and Kao San Road (for shopping).
Buth it can be very noisy in the evening when the bands in the pubs in the street start playing and singing.
Ask a room in the back of the hotel, not at the side of the entrance.
The pool in the hotel is also nice for the children.

| "Although the location was great, and the pool lovely, the carpets in the rooms were stained, and I didn't feel that the value for money was all that great. " |

| "Found dirty bedsheets with holes. Thought they were used, let them change. New ones were dirty and with holes, too.
The room smelled terribly. There was a kind of mould on the chairs and we guess there was more of it behind the mystical wooden wall. It was not allowed to open windows and the AC was at least 20 years old...(maybe a explanation for the mould)
The bathroom was only made for people under 1,75m. You had bend down to get a shower. Furniture was neglected, and that was the deluxe room.
Breakfast was only till 9:30 am. You eat from plastic plates in an overcrowded breakfast-room.
There was no safe in the room. At the reception you could rent a tiny safe for high deposit. They offered Internet-access (Wi-Fi) at rates out of this world: 100B for 30 minutes. But we needed it to book another place to stay in Bangkok. Liked it alot at the Vila Cha-Cha 30m from Viengtai at Rambutri road." |

| " The staff is good but however the room is not clean. The pillow has blood stain and so on toilet have some blood stain. The room have some teribble smell. The management have to look in cleaniness of the room. Especially the toilet." |

| "Have stayed here previously and once again we were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly hotel staff. Grate place to stay given it's proximity to nearby attractions such as the Grand Palace and Khao San road. Only thing that seemed neglected on this stay was the pool. The very few pool towels soon ran out and nobody had been to clean up the empty beer bottles and ashtrays from the previous night and this was well after lunch. Despite this, I have no hesitation recommending this hotel as an inexpensive yet good quality hotel in, what to me, is, a very interesting part of Bangkok." |
