The location was very convernient to everywhere even dining, shopping or centre area ... room was very clean tidy service crew was friendiy and helpful and the room price also competative..that's a hotel absolutely worth to staying..

| "First of all, I would like to thanks Asia Rooms.com offering for the lowest rate at White Orchid Hotel in Bangkok,
The White Orchid Hotel have a very good location and in the heart of China Town. The Hotel Room is newly renovated with new paint, new wall paper, new floor tiles and etc. The room is big enough for twin sharing or a couple and look clean. The disappointed for the room is the centralise air-cond in some rooms is not cold enough and the shower pipe is too short in the bathroom.
The location for the Hotel is the perfect choice for the Traveller, it is very easy to find hawker food, sea food, Restorance food and the Hotel's buffer breakfast (Included in our Room rate) and buffer dinner (Optional 200 baht per pax for hotel guest) also not bad. The taxi fare to or from MBK Shopping Mall is only 100 Baht for my family (You have to negotiate before go in to the taxi). You can hiring a taxi for the whole day from the hotel for sideseeing is only cost 2000 baht.
There are a lot of wholeseller in China Town selling shoes, souvenir, beg, cap, clothing and etc. They are selling in quantity per dozen or half dozen and their price is cheaper than the Shopping Mall (Please don't forget to bargain).
Overall, we happy to stay in White Orchid Hotel and it is good value for money.

| "Room itself wasn't too bad but loooked really runned down. The windows didn't open.
Bathroom was basic but had hot water (even though took ages to warm up).
Air con was ok.
Service was good for what we paid for.
Don't use internet at the hotel because it's a rip off... 150B for 15 mins when you can go to Kho
San Road and get 1B a min internet!
Location wasn't that great if you're young and want to be in the action, had to get a tuk tuk to Kho San Road most days. Which was about 100B - 150B return even though it shouldn't have costed more than 20B one way for locals.
Lots of cheap and yummy food in Chinatown though but no bars!!!
Wouldn't stay here again as it was too far away from Kho San Road (backpackers central - cheap most things - clubs - bars etc. " |

is better to book the room arccoding to how many night you want to stay,b'cos the price will be high if you book at the hotel compare to internet.
