Despite the great reviews, I was quite disappointed for a couple of reasons:
1. The tuk-tuk driver cum bellboy. He alone will make me not want to return. Very poor attitude, very insistent to carry luggage, very insistent to collect money, pretends he doesnt have any change on him. Very very very bad idea to put him under the concierge team.
2. Hotel is very very far into Soi 4. I've been to Bangkok approximately 14times now, and I'll have to say that this hotel is one of the most inconvenient ones. Sure the tuk-tuk is free, but not too keen on even seeing the driver ....
3. The tuk-tuk supposedly makes a trip out/in of the hotel to the main road every 30mins. What I saw was that if there are no exiting guests, he would stay put in the hotel. So just be prepared to walk if there's no guests leaving the hotel.
4. The rooms. Of the 4 options, I had the 2nd and 3rd best ones. They were very dark and depressing. Facing some old unused building (5 metres away) that kept me thinking if I wld see ghosts from across. So the curtains were drawn all the time. The room sizes are pretty much the same by the way. And they look just 10% like the pictures (only the bed layout is the same).
I probably wouldnt return in future unless I run out of options.

| "I Always stay at the Woraburi Sukhumvit when i am in Thailand which is several times a year. I have been staying there now for 3 years and the service and the rooms are excellent for the price. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are very good. Lovely pool on rooftop. Also the few minutes walk away from the main nightlife and the skytrain its ideal for any traveller. | "the hotel was in a good location with excellent services but the rooms were not of the standard as they appear on internet or brochures. great place for young single men on first visit to bangkok clean and tidy but decor was poor and my shower was cold only which i personally dont mind. the room fridge was well stocked and very reasonably priced as was the bar downstairs. service was excellent for this standard hotel.the only reason i would be unlikely to stay again is because for a few pounds more you can find hotels with much nicer rooms,they were dated but clean. i would not tell people not to go but would not recommend for business travelers or couples unless on a tight budget but overall ok." |

| "Have stayed here many times and this hotel is very good value. Pity that the large Tuk Tuk they had is no longer serviceable. Its smaller replacement can mean a wait if there are a lot of people wishing to travel up the soi. I hope they get a new one. Otherwise, i will stay here again. " |
