The Maekok River Village Resort moved to its stunning new location in October 2008 and is becoming one of the region's most popular resorts. The resort and rooms have been designed by the owners, and from the restaurant, bar and room balconies, guests can enjoy sweeping views across the Fang Valley to the Wa Wee mountains. The MRVR is an ideal place to spend a few days whilst exploring this fascinating part of Northern Thailand with its rich northern heritage and colourful and interesting ethnic minorities. There is also plenty to do at the resort itself - including Thai cookery courses, biking and canoeing, as well as activities such as wall climbing, high ropes course, jungle cook-out and archery. These all make for an ideal family holiday as our team of instructors are on hand to look after the children whilst parents enjoy the pool, the bar or a massage!

The Maekok River Village Resort is located 180 km north of Chiang Mai and 90 km from Chiang Rai on the banks of the Maekok River. The roads from both these cities are of high quality and the drive through to the resort is very scenic and of great interest . Transfers can be easily arranged.
