"We stayed in a deluxe room which was very nice. The room was nicely decorated. The bathroom was large but the room had no balcony. The location is excellent, near to the night market and other attractions. "

"Really nice hotel with great staff! I left my camera and house keys in the room accidentally and they were sent on to Samui free of charge. Good location for Chiang Mai. Room clean and good facilities."

"RAMMING LODGE IS A VERY GOOD OPTION IF YOU STAY AT CHIANG MAI. ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. SHEETS AND TOWELS ARE CHANGED EVERYDAY, AND SHOWER GEL AND SHAMPOO IS ALWAY AVAILABLE AT THE BATHROOM. ROOMS ARE QUITE AND WELL ISOLATED OF EXTERNAL NOISE. KIND AND EFFICIENT STAFF. BREAKEFAST IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE ROOM, AMERICAN OR THAI BUFFET OPTIOINS THAT ARE SERVED IN THE VERY COMFORTABLE YARD OF RAMMING'S LODGE. THERE IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR THE CUSTOMERS A SWIMMING POOL LOCATED OUTSIDE THE MAIN BUILDING, CLOSE TO THE HOTEL PARKING (10 METER FROM THE RECEPTION DESK). THERE IS ALSO THE POSSIBILTIY TO HAVE SOME LIGHT FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE SWIMMING POOL ENCLOSURE. THE HOTEL CAN BOOK FOR YOU MANY ONE-DAY OR HALF-DAY EXCURSION FOR EXPLORING THE CHIANG MAI SURROUNDINGS. THERE IS ALSO A FAIR AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE (150 BATHS) TO THE AIRPORT. LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS VERY GOOD. IT IS LOCATED IN FRONT OF THE CHIANG MAI EASTERN'S GATE, WICH IS 5 MINUTES WALKING FROM THE FAMOUS SUNDAY WALKING STREET. RAMMING LODGE IS LOCATED INSIDE THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT OF CHIANG MAI, THE NEIGHBOURHOOD IS FULL OF RESTAURANTS, BARS AND ENTERTAIMENT BUT THE HOTEL'S BUILDING IS VERY WELL ISOLATED FROM THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE."

"The actual room felt like a concrete box with no natural light or windows, it was clean and large enough but felt like a prison. Most times there was no hot water. The restaurant tried to do too many different dishes and trherefore did none well. I would never stay there again."

Comments:

Inflexibility of hotel service. Transport from airport should be available since we are staying in deluxe room on the 2nd day. However, the rooms are clean, and the location is superb, easy access to the the night bazaar, Sunday market and old town.
