| "Nice hotel and staff. The room was big and clean. Bathroom ok.
Location was good. Chiang Mai is great, "small" and kind, can walk around in the city. Like the northern Thailand - want back :-)
Breakfast buffet - GOOD !
A city for shopping, relaxing - just perfect ! Quite something else from the polluted and noice traffic in Bangkok.

The band & singer at the Empress Ground floor are excellent entertainment ...small patch floor for dancing as well ; please aware there's + & + for the bill...well worth it to relax to beaut. 60s-70s music." |

| "I had read many reviews prior to my trip and decided to stay at the Empress solely because of the reviews. This hotel was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to all. The facilities were really nice. The exercise room could use a few more machines, but we managed to work out with the equipment on hand. We were so thankful for the great service at the hotel, including the hotel doctor that we had to call in when our daughter passed out. The daily breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel has wireless internet for a fee and we were happy to have access in our room. The connection was a little weak, but we were able connect and check email. The hotel tour desk was helpful. The in-house taxi service was a little pricey. After a 1 day we figured that local tuk-tuk drivers could get us anywhere in Chiang Mai for a much better price. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel." |

| "This was the best hotel that I have stayed in in Thailand. The description and photos on the web page match exactly with the hotel. The friendliest staff I have ever been fortunate enough to meet. Nothing was too much for them. They were very informative about the area and gave good advice on where to go. The swimming pool was a good size and the area around the pool was ample. The leisure facilities were very clean and we received first class service. This hotel is excellent value for money." |
