This Hotel is superb! It feels like home. Nice interior, Clean, safe, cozy and good food at the restraunts. The rooms also come with a DVD Player. 02 bedrooms which i stayed comes with attached bathroom. also a big fridge and a small kitchen with a dining and living area. There is a DVD store nearby where you can rent movies too. We can't believe that we ate at the hotel almost every night. Its really appetising and reasonably priced. There is a mini cake shop at the lobby. The chef make very nice cake. My hubby B'day cake was made specially for him by the chef and cost only 350 Bath for 06 ppl. It was yummy. There is lots of pubs and eating place around it too. Oasis spa is walking distance. Many small massage parlours around the hotel for pampering yourself. The pool is a bit small but enough for me. There is also a fully equipt GYM and jacuzzi by the pool. There is also tours where you can go. A must go is the elephant camp and long neck village. Its an experience. You can try shooting and also off road bike ride. ( quite costly ) Of course there is lots of temple to visit if you're interested. Not much shopping around the hotel but its only abt 150 bath for cab fair almost every where including to n from a.port. this place is abt 15 mins from the a,port. Hotel to town is also abt 15 to 20 mins. There is a night market and also few malls around. Shopping is not like in B.kok though. There is tuk tuk also outside the hotel. Its safe. They dun speak english that much and will bring you straight to your destination instead of stopping somewhere to promote whatever things/ whatever place like drivers in B.kok. Road are also lesser polluted and lesser cars. If you are taking taxi, you may ask the hotel to call a cab for you.
And not forgetting the staff. Fantactic. From the reception to hsekeeping to waiter/waitresses. Very nice people. Soft spoken and lots of patience and always friendly. Except for a guy, ithink he's a caucasion with a high post working there. Always seen him walking and talking to guests except us asian. Nonetheless, we don't mind as we decide not spoil our holidays. So if you want some quite place in Thailand and not so rough people, Chiang Mai is the destination. Kantary hill apartment is the Place. Thank you so much to all the staff of Kantary Hill.

| "Kantary Hills although slightly out of town is a fantastic hotel which should be in the Luxury bracket. Hotel areas have a feeling of relaxation. The pool are was good, pool warm and great size. The steam room and sauna were an excellent way to relax and the gym was well stocked.I will definately use this hotel again" |

| "Very modern, nice hotel with a big swimmingpool to relax after doing all the sightseeing. Rooms are spacious, very clean with all the amenities you expect. Breakfast is also available with a good choice. Will go there again, even if it is not in the very center of Chiang Mai, but in the trendy west end area. Taxi or TukTuk to Nightbazar should not cost more than 80 baht." |

| "What was there not to like is where I would start as this place sets the standard for all the accommodation we stayed at throughout Vietnam and Thailand.
After a long hard think all I can come up with is, the Pool was slippery at the edges and more shade was needed.
The rooms were big and spacious with a full size fridge, frypan, toaster and all required to live out of this suite. Because the local cuisine was so good we did not use what was available. Breakfasts were a feast and if the zillion choices there was not good enough you could just ask and it would be produced.
Staff were absolutely fabulous in every respect.
To top it off there was a business centre where you could get coffee, tea and fruit juice with light snacks of pastries, sandwiches and cakes roughly 9 am to 10 PM all free with your wireless Internet. This place just was just so good." |

| "The staff all gave my husband and I a very wellcome smile and service.
However we requested a non-smoking room, they were unable to provide to us due to fully occupied, since they only have 1 floor for non-smoking. This is the area I think they should look into it. The first room we had was smelling like an ashtray, to me it was really unacceptable. I booked the room in May yet, they were unable to reserve for me.
When I check out, the staff told me that I have made a local call in the room and needed to pay, but I was sure I never did, so later they told me due to one time I requested the front desk to call a local restuarnt for reservation, that needed to be charge, which I found it very odd, as I was not informed that it was a pay service.
I also found the bed very uncomfortable, they need to have better pest control in the rooms. Even on the third night they were able to put us in a non-smoking room the room was still smell unpresent, the hotel could do better in this area.
We were really pleased with the swimming pool and gymroom, as well as the hotel location, so until we find a better hotel in the area, otherwise we will still go back to Kantary, really hope it will improve on the weaker part.
