"We enjoyed our A-frame Ob Fah Cottage and all its amenities and facilities very much. Only one problem -we were the ONLY guests at the resort, which was a little eerie. Because of this, we felt there was not much life in the place. Had there been other guests around, it would have been perfect. The location was further out of town than we expected but because of this we experienced the mountain-feel, which proved peaceful and calming. The staff had limited English language so it made it difficult to communicate. Therefore we missed out on going to Doi Suthep temple, a little further on, simply because it had not been pointed out to us that it was a major tourist attraction just down the road. We were disappointed to find this out later. Overall it is a beautiful resort, but in its current phase, most people would find it too quiet and stagnant because of the lack of guests, activity and "life". You got the feel that no one had stayed there for quite some time and it changed things. Thank you."

"Krisdadoi is a very nice and lovey place to relax away from the noise & pollution of the city. Very beautifully trimmed gardens, waterfalls and corteous staff. Only drawback is distance from the city (about 30 mins by car)."

"We enjoyed the peace and tranquility thoroughly. Rooms were rustic. Lovely expansive gardens. Food at restaurant excellent, although relatively limited, and priced well. WARNING: Krisdadoi is not close to Chiang Mai and you should pre-arrange rides with hotel (difficult if you don't have their e-mail address) or take a metered taxi. Room types misleading as they only had one fundamental room/cabin....don't select deluxe as you'll pay more for the same room. If you're after a retreat, this is a great location. If you're a tourist, chose something much closer to Chiang Mai, especially if you don't have your own transport. We hired a taxi (US $40) for each day, so had a driver at our beck and call. "
