Would I stay at this location
again:

Most likely
We found the Manathai hotel very much as described on the Asiarooms website. Very welcoming and the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.Especially like the little touches of fresh flowers on the pillows in the evening. We thought our acommodation was very good value for money.Breakfast was very plentiful and delicious. If we were to stay in Chiang Mai again we would not hesitate to stay at the Manathai as we felt very comfortable. My one complaint would be the floors in the rooms are polished concrete and can be quite slippery if wearing socks or shoes that don't have a rubber sole.

"beautiful hotel, very friendly service, rooms are just modern boutique. Good location. Only comment is that teh pool is wondeful, but there are only 6 lounges and they dont get sun past 12. would definately stay again.... rooms have a MASSIVE bath... which is nice to relax in after a day out."

"We had stayed at a similar style of property previously in Chiang Mai but thought we would try somewhere different. The Manathai far exceeded our expections as there was a huge price difference between them both with the Manathai being less expensive. The staff were friendly and extremely efficient. The rooms were lovely and quite spacious. The whole place was spotless and beautifully landscaped. It is in a great location being about equal distance to the night market in one direction and the old city in the other. My daughter and husband were in the room next door which was upstairs but on the corner of 2 laneways. She found the motorbikes woke her early so I would recommend asking for a quiet room if one was a light sleeper. I would recommend elderly people requesting a room downstairs by the pool as the stairs can be a little slippery in the wet. There are a few stairs to climb to the restaurant "Weaves" which also was lovely. It is a true boutique style hotel with a lovely feel. Dinah (Australia)"

"A beautiful oasis of calm & tranquility, perfectly located for sight seeing and within easy walking distance of main town attractions. Our room was beautiful (although a little bigger would have been perfect), spotlessly clean and with a wonderful bathroom - complete with walk-in shower & a huge bathtub. The Manathai is a small boutique hotel set amid lovely gardens and is a welcome escape from the noise & the heat of the town. The pool is great for cooling off after a hectic day shopping or sight seeing. The staff were attentive and very helpful & the free internet & newspapers were a bonus. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would definitely stay here again if we return to Chiang Mai. "
